Course Overview:   

Machine learning is all around us. We all use machine learning systems every day - such as spam filters, recommendation engines, language translation services, chatbots and digital assistants, search engines, and fraud detection systems.

It will soon be normal for machine learning systems to drive our cars, and help doctors to diagnose and treat our illnesses. It's important that kids are aware of how our world works. The best way to understand the capabilities and implications is to be able to build with this technology for themselves.

Part 1 : 

12 Sessions

In this module we will help students to train simple machine-learning models and use them to play games and complete interactive projects. This module introduces students to the principles and implications of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Students will input data and the machine creates links that help it answer questions that are not in the data. The student will learn the AI and ML concept and implement this concept using IBM Watson AI Services.

Part 2:  

12 Sessions  

Prerequisite: Python Programming  

This module is specific to speech recognition using AI/ML models designed using Alexa Skill Kit and Amazon Web Services. This module introduces concept of Amazon Skill Kit to design interaction model for speech recognition. Students will learn to design their speech recognition model for Alexa Custom Skill using Python language. Further, they will learn to host the Alexa Custom Skill on AWS.
