COURSE OVERVIEW : Students will learn basic concepts of programming through the captivating medium of storytelling. Students will use their creativeness and imagination to design an animation story with multiple scenes, multiple characters, and dialogues.
They will code using MIT Scratch which helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. We adopted customized curriculum designed by Google CS First and Harvard creative computing group.
